What if I Defecate In Hot Yoga
I was recently asked by Margaret Brandon who attends my University Park studio if someone has ever cleared their bowels or “made in their seat” during a hot yoga session.
If so, what should they do about it?
I told Margaret, “Yes. Someone has done this. And that someone is you.”
Margaret nodded. She did make in her seat and I knew she did. I saw it happen during a Warrior Three pose. A very easy pose that should not have made Margaret shit.
But what to do? I responded tersely, “Not what you did Margaret. You shouldn’t blame it on someone else. The excrement was in your yoga pants. You were caught.”
I later apologized. My tone was not meant to heal, but destroy.
What should you do? You should leave. You are not able to control your anus. Check around your area to make sure a more physical move didn’t knock the mess from your clothing. If any got on the floor, use your personal yoga mat to clean it up. If you rented a yoga mat, please tell me so I can call the police and have you killed!
