Ten Grass Thoughts with Dorma Purd #2
Dorma Purd is a locally renowned yogi and spiritual healer in the San Diego area. She is the owner of the Ten Grass Yoga studio, with locations in Del Mar, North Park, Santee, University Heights, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, and Encinitas. Dorma also holds multiple self-accredited certifications in Raki, Acupuncture, Post-Nadal Care, and Sex. Dorma will be using the Beef City Bounce House newsletter to provide studio updates, thoughts from herself, and weekly updates from her life.
Things Dorma is Watching: I thought it would be enriching to provide the San Diego yoga community with some insight into what media I am taking in. I am always looking for things that inspire me, terrify me, arouse me, and force me into action. Sometimes I also like to take in something silly :^)
On youtube, I’ve grown fond of a video compilation called “Brutal Knockouts”. I absolutely attest violence, but on this occasion, I actually love it. I will sit at the breakfast nook with a warm lemon water and play the video compilation over and over. Seron begs me to watch something else but I can’t.
There is one clip where a man at a gas station gets punched directly in his forehead (near the Ajna chakra). He falls on the hood of his car and is unable to move. I find myself cheering :^
We had to fire Huron at the Rancho Santa Fe location. It is okay to be a bad boy. It is okay to be evil. But do not be both during an acupuncture session. You know better, Huron!
